This is it. LAST SATURDAY RUN EMAIL from me for the 2016-2017 season. Did we enter some sort of time warp? Didn’t I just coerce you into running 60 minutes of hills? Didn’t we just celebrate running 8 miles for the FIRST TIME? Weren’t we all complainy about a 5AM start time? Yes, it was a hot minute ago. BUT YOU DID IT. 8 miles ain’t got nothing on you. 5AM? I’ll take you and introduce you to 3AM. You’ve made it to the last run, friends. HUGE CONGRATS.

We are READY! If there is a change in your plans, please let us know. Even though your seat is free…we appreciate you letting us know so we can adjust, since we have to pay for confirmed attendance. The party starts at 6PM and will wrap up around 9ish. Because we can’t do anything that isn’t “ish.”
For those coming to the party on Saturday, I wanted to give a couple direction tips. The address is 12234 Shadow Creek Parkway, Suite 7100, Pearland, TX 77584 – the building sits back off of Shadow Creek Parkway, so it’s a little misleading! If you are coming from 288 and coming down Shadow Creek Parkway, the easiest is to turn LEFT on Reflections Bay (this is the light at Second Baptist Church, JAX Burger etc). Then you will turn RIGHT into the Montessori school and the do a little jig to the left and follow behind the Montessori school. The event center is a one story-building and will be on your right and parking is available anywhere around the building. Pam will have some balloons out there to help guide you in as well. We realize the Texan’s game will still be going on, so we’ll have that on as well.
A reminder on the bar. It’s an cash honor bar…with a suggested donation of $3 for beer and $5 for wine. You can also buy a bottle and take to your table. We just need to cover the cost, as this isn’t taken out of any PARR funds. Worked GREAT last year!

While I do get a lot of feedback throughout the season, we really do read each survey that you all fill out. Please take a moment to complete the survey. Your opinion is important to us and we can only make improvements if we know what worked and what didn’t. Please be honest with your feedback…we can’t improve unless you tell us what to do differently. This Weekend
With this being the final run, we realize that people have different distances for what will work for them. So we will do another out and back to allow for those custom distances. For those who cannot deviate from the schedule: Schedule has HM doing 7 miles, FM doing 12 miles. We will start at Turner High School track FM at 5:00AM and 6:00AM for HM. The route will be the usual out the back, up Maclean and left on Magnolia…turn around at YOUR midpoint and head back! I have both kids going in two different directions and will have to miss this last run! Make it a good one!
