Hi Y’all,
Lots of racing going again this weekend…a bunch of the ladies are headed up to one of my favorite races…RunGirl Half Marathon! I hope everyone has a GREAT race, whether it’s your FIRST or just your favorite! Get a boa, a mimosa and a fun race pic after! Don’t worry about the weather…a little rain won’t hurt. A lot won’t either. It MIGHT even be fun. Just be sure to pack some towels and some warm stuff to put on afterward! And be sure to wave at the lovely lady in bathrobe that will come out to greet you out on the course.
#PARRgiving
We talk a lot about the #PARRty to celebrate the season, but one of the coolest things we have done for the past few years is help local families in need. Our own Lisa Sanchez coordinated with Pearland ISD and their Angel Tree Program and was given 3 families that will have a little brighter Christmas this year. For those that missed all the hullaballoo on Facebook on Tuesday, we posted a gift list on the Facebook page. People claimed the items they would like to donate and bring those wrapped/tagged gifts to Lisa next week. Then, faster than I could update the posts or get an email out…everything was claimed. People went in on items together, they did do one item, they did five. The list also included grocery and gas gift cards. If you are feeling like you missed out BIG TIME, no worries. These families will be overjoyed with additional gas/grocery gift cards…so you’re still in the game. Wanna see what happened? Here is the summary post of the items and how it all went down: https://goparr.com/parrgiving-
Those that are donating items, please use this https://goparr.com/parrgiving-
#PARRjingle
Please, pretty-please be sure to RSVP for the Jingle Bell Family Day on December 17. The day is free, but we do need to get an idea of how many folks are going to be there so they can get appropriate prizes, chocolate milks and all that good stuff. Just takes a minute…just be sure you are logged in to the site. And when you’re indicating how many, each field must be filled in…so you might need to add a 0. Here is the link for that => https://goparr.com/store/parr-
