Reminders: Donation Drop-off & Jingle Bell Run

Hi Y’all,

Just a couple of reminders.

If you are donating to the PARR Charitable Giving – Angel Tree, please make sure you get your items to Lisa (jfsanchezfamily@sbcglobal.net) BY TOMORROW. There are two options: Berry Miller Jr High on FM 1128 You can leave at the front desk – they have a bright orange PARR ANGEL TREE BOX right behind the desk (saw it with my very own two eyes this morning) or at her house on the East side: 2105 Stonehollow Ct Pearland 77581. Lisa is still collecting $$ and gift cards – and those can dropped off as well. Just be sure to get ALL to her BY TOMORROW…WRAPPED AND LABELED for the specific child you chose. Thank you, Thank you for your incredible generosity!

Also, be sure to RSVP (or “register”) for the Jingle Bell celebration on Saturday. We are only asking you do this so we make sure we have enough goodies for everyone! They can totally get there and decide they want no part in running. While we do a short little run for the kids and have a prize…this is NOT a certified course, nor will it qualify them for any future coveted running events 🙂 To register, please do the following:

LOG IN on www.GOPARR.com

  1. Did I mention you have to log in? Oh, LOG IN.
  2. Under Members’ Area select “Event Sign Up”
  3. Select “PARR Events”
  4. Select “Jingle Bell Run”
  5. Select how many Adults and Children are attending. We are asking for a range of ages to make sure we have the appropriate number of goodies for all ages. If you do not have a child in an age bracket, you will need to select “none”.
  6. Then proceed to checkout – no credit card info is asked for. It’s pretty simple.

I will be sending out the weekly run email a little later…but for planning purposes…this week is a progression run (180 Min / 90 Min). The “scheduled start times” will be 5:45AM for FM and 7:15AM for HM. I know there are folks that it’s not feasible for your families to meet you there after the run, so I’m sure there will be folks starting earlier to be able to run home and gather their chickens. Discuss amongst yourselves to coordinate…or go to the FB page and find your people! Get your run in AND bring your family out! Two birds and a village, people.

Let me know if you have any questions!
