Saturday Run – 10/25/14

Hi y’all, Great showing last week at the Bridge Run in Galveston this weekend! It was HOT, but it sure was fun to see everyone out there.  Some big PRs and smiling faces!

10k Galveston

We’ve got another race weekend coming up – the Houston Half Marathon, which is the first race in the Houston Half Marathon warm-up series.  Best of luck to all that are running….rumor has it, there are some folks who will be running their FIRST half-marathon!  If you’re not running it, come out and cheer the orange on Sunday!  Going to be a beautiful morning for both spectators and runners!

And even better news {for me}…sweet, sweet Tina has agreed to do all the routes for us the rest of the season.  I mighta kicked my heels up a bit as I sat down to write this…knowing the routes were just sitting in my inbox.  THANK YOU TINA!

For those not doing the race on Sunday, FM is up for 13 miles and HM 8 miles…out of Turner High / PJHS Track.  We got water covered this weekend, so hold all your helpfulness tight until next week 🙂  Water will be at FM1128.

Because it’s a race weekend, will be smaller groups running on Saturday.  Be sure to seek out your group…we’ve got some new folks as well, so if someone isn’t sure where to go…be sure to show them which way is FORWARD.  Because that’s our always our goal.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Happy runs y’all, Aimee
