Saturday Run – 11/08/14 and more shirts

Hi Y’all,

Great news for those who maybe hesitated on shirts in September!  Sandy has arranged a “Second Chance Shirt Order” for those of us who wished we had gotten one or six more!  Be sure you’re logged into the website and can access the “Member’s Area” and then select “Shirts” (https://goparr.com/shirts/  )  Having run a race with all the families in their PARR attire, I can tell you it was a GREAT addition this year!  And in case you forgot how awesome they are, i’ve included a pic. Orders can be placed until Thursday, NOVEMBER 13…and this will be the last chance for this season!  They cannot accept personal shirts to be printed on for this order…only orders placed on the website.

AND…if you DID order back in September and haven’t picked up your shirt….PLEASE, PLEASE get in contact with  Sarah chad.sarahbarton@gmail.com  to arrange when you can pick them up.  I know they’ve been stalking you…I’ve provided them with vital stalking information 🙂 These poor girls have been carrying them around for weeks, on the off chance you just might show up.  They take up space (in the van AND in the mind)…so please collect your shirts ASAP.

No local races this week, so we should have large groups for Saturday run!  HM is set for 9 miles and FM is set for 16 miles. We are going to meet in the parking lot of Wild Pear Running store (9430 Broadway St).  Please note the routes are from the PB, so you’ll just run through the parking lot to get there 🙂

FM – meet at 5:15AM – 16 miles http://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/fullscreen/566257944/ HM – meet at 6:00AM – 9 miles http://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/fullscreen/566260746/ And magically, water will be at Harkey Road, about mile 5 and 11

Next week there are TWO races, the 3rd Texas Bridge Series (La Porte Half Marathon) and the 2nd in the Houston Marathon Warm up Series (HMSA 25K)  Be sure to use the awesome RSVP pages that are set up https://goparr.com/events/  – just lets others in the group know who all is running!

As always, if you have any questions…please let me know!  Happy runs, y’all.
