I hope everyone had a great holiday break! We are winding down our official training season…but that doesn’t mean we stop running! It just means it’s time for our end of the season party! I mentioned in my last email how our group has grown significantly this year. 164 MEMBERS! That’s crazy. Our first year (2011-2012) we had about 30 people. And I say “about” because it was just a losey-goosey email chain that we had…but Ric made us all official and we got a name AND shirts. That’s when it got real, folks. The next year we had about 77 and last year we had 115. And it’s because of each of you encouraging your people to join too!
With this year…we finally outgrew our venue! So we’ve enlisted fellow PARR Member, and event coordinator extraordinaire, Pam Noey, with the task of getting this set up for us this year’s party! You aren’t going to want to miss this! She’s been working on this for months and because I ran 16 miles with her on Saturday…I got lots of scoop! BUT…you need to RSVP, like ASAP, to get your spots! That’s right…SPOTS! She was able to add the option of bringing guests. We received feedback last year that some folks would like the option of bringing their spouse and/or family members. PARR is subsidizing a portion of each guest as well, to keep the costs to you at a minimum and that is reflected in the price. With adding in the guests…space and budget are limited! So RSVP/Register right away! Even if you are planning to come by yourself, you will need to RSVP/Register to reserve your seat…as we need to have an accurate headcount and won’t be able to have anyone just show up on the evening of. We’re pretty official this year…a website, a tent, a real email system AND a big ol’ event. Where will it end?!?!

Guests: Adults and age 13 yr or older $20
Guests: Children 12 and under: $10
Here is the link to RSVP/Register (it is the same process as the Jingle Bell Run, but with the payment option if you are bringing guests with you):
1. Be sure you are logged into the PARR Website
2. Go to www.goparr.com/party (or go to MEMBER’S AREA => SEASON PARTY)
3. Click on the Season End Party graphic, this will show you the three ticket options
4. Click on “Member” first and then “Add to Cart” – Please note that each registered Member will have to register themselves under their own log in. We realize there are families that are all members, but we had to limit the FREE admission to ONE per member.
5. Once you’ve added yourself to the cart and need to add guests, scroll down and select the appropriate age group and add.
6. Once you’ve got all of your people registered, click VIEW CART and checkout. (to View Cart – in the Menu Bar select MEMBER’S AREA => SEASON END PARTY => VIEW CART
Because this is less than two weeks away, and on a time crunch…you will be bugged more than ever before. I’ll be requesting a couple things too along the way…so look forward to that!
