BRRRRRRRRRRRR….I’m telling you that humid cold is COLD. I love me a cold run, but this is seriously going to separate the joggers from the runners 😉
HUGE thank you to all that participated, shopped, donated, coordinated and made our Angel Tree such a success! Lisa will be delivering everything to PISD tomorrow and those three little families will feel the undoubting PARRlove.
Big props to the ladies of PARR that represented BIG TIME at Run Girl last weekend! A podium finish for Julie Williams with one of our fastest ladies’ half times, I’m sure! Are you kidding me? Amazing, lady. Simply amazing. And MANY PRs on top of that. PRs we didn’t even dream about 3 years ago! Way to go ladies.
There are so many races…and so many faces, that occasionally…like every weekend…I forget. And this weekend is no exception…where I will forget someone or some race!
Good luck to those finishing up the Houston Marathon Warm up Series with the 30K in Sugarland. It will be a great race to test out your plan, your clothes, your food, your pace…and the WILL IT to be the kind of day we get in January. We are due a good race day!
And I checked, the stars are perfectly aligned for those headed to BCS to secure those BQs. WE ARE BEHIND YOU 100%…because that’s where we need to be to live vicariously through you!
And if that wasn’t enough…the current fastest (and craziest) will be headed to Brazos Bend for their 50 miler debut. Good luck to Laurence and Crystal…who will finally find out what it’s like to run for more than 4 hours. 😉

Routes are from Wild Pear this week, with water at Harkey. These have a little race pace in the middle to get your legs ready for the January push, but these are the two best distances ever. I’m telling you. ENJOY!
