Welcome to the 2019-20 PARR Training Season!

Hi y’all,
It’s here, it’s here! The start of a new season. Whether this is your very first time to train for a half or full marathon or the hundredth, we are so honored that you chose to train with PARR. We know as leaders we are biased, but we think we have something special going!
PARR SEASON KICK-OFF
We are kicking off the season with tacos on Saturday! We’re meeting at the big pavilion at Pearland Town Center at 8 a.m. There is NO RUN on this day (the last Saturday for a nice long while with no early morning run!). Please bring a chair with you if you don’t want to stand. This event will last approximately an hour. We’ll go over the schedule and details about safety, water, routes, etc. You’ll also get to meet your group leader and fellow pace group peeps.

We ask that you let us know by Wednesday if you are planning to attend. NO RSVP? NO TACOS!!! For budgetary reasons, we ask that this remain a members only event.

PLEASE NOTE: we will NOT be providing printed copies of the schedule at the kick-off this year. You are welcome to print and bring it with you on Saturday, although not necessary.
The training schedule begins on Monday, July 22. Our first supported Saturday run will be on Saturday, July 27. More information about location and start time will go out in next week’s email.

A FINAL NOTE REGARDING MEMBERSHIP
This email is being sent only to those who have joined or renewed as of Monday, July 15. So it’s a good idea to ask your fellow running peeps if they have renewed their membership. If they didn’t receive this email, they likely have not renewed. The same is true for the Facebook group. We are removing those who haven’t renewed. Please understand that this is for the safety of our members.
