Congratulations to all the Bridge runners/walkers in La Porte, TX last Sunday. From looking at the photos, it looked like you all have a great time on a beautiful day on the bridge.
Also, congratulations to Paul Aleshire for his 2nd AG finish in the Shiner Half Marathon and Jessica Ohlemacher for her 3rd AG finish in the Shiner 5k.
Many of you and your family members will be participating in the PEARLAND TURKEY TROT on Thursday morning. Since PARR is a sponsor, we will have a tent and table available to us and you are free to use it as a base to drop off gear and hang out around the tent. Please check Facebook for the time of the PARR group picture, but I think we’ll try to do it at 7 a.m. before the kid’s 1k.

Scheduled Saturday November 24, 2018 Run Details – Start at Wild Pear
We’re starting from Wild Pear again for our Saturday run and we’ve done this run before. I’m sure many members may knock out their run on Friday, so please check FB to see if you can join one of these groups. Black Friday at Wild Pear so check out the deals.
FM – 5:00 AM –17-18 Miles at easy Conversational easy pace , 1-2 minutes slower than marathon pace. Route – https://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/fullscreen/2323347103/

Turnaround at Magnolia Elementary. If you raced the Turkey Trot, you may want to run the 10 miles easy.
Walking Group – 6:30 AM – 4 Miles.

1st Annual Pearland Half Marathon and 10k – March 23, 2019
You may have heard Pearland will have its first ever Half Marathon race next March. PARR wants to do our part to support local races and merchants. Registration is open by following the link below. They have a great early bird price of $60, so make sure you register by 12/31/18.

Every year, one of the coolest things PARR does is adopt families through the Pearland ISD’s Angel Tree program. More information coming next week about timing and how that works. Get ready to make someone’s Christmas a little brighter!
