WEEK 20 – Saturday, 12/01/18

Hi Y’all,

It’s still Aimee…filling in for Laurence this week to provide you with your fill of words.

While writing these emails has been one of my favorite things to do, I cannot tell you how thankful I am for Laurence and Andrea this season.  They have done such an amazing job this year keeping us all on track. Literally and figuratively. I am forever grateful every time I receive an email…knowing the time, energy and love that goes into it each week.  I know it’s been seamless to you…an email, what’s the big deal?!?! It’s a big deal every week knowing there are 300+ people on the edge of their seats, waiting to hear from you wondering WHAT WILL THEY SAY THIS WEEK? WHERE WILL WE RUN? WHAT TIME DO I NEED TO BE THERE? AND GOD HELP ME, WHAT PACE DO I RUN? So give them a huge thank you next time you see them!

We had a great showing at the Pearland Turkey Trot! So fun to see a local race SELL OUT.  And our people up on the podium. And all along the course. You didn’t have to run more than a few feet to find an orange shirt, a smile and a wave! And huge congratulations to those that snuck up to the at the 25K in stealth mode…with some landing on a podium!  This podium is becoming a thing.

BEST OF LUCK to all our girls headed up to the Run Girl Half this weekend – weather looks perfect, go get you a PR and give a big wave to the biggest cheerleader out there in her bathrobe. Can’t miss her.  With mass exodus of ladies, attendance might be a little light, so be sure to check with your people!

PARR Giving is underway – head over to the Facebook page and see all the goodness going on. As of me writing this email, FAMILY 1 – TAKEN CARE OF. FAMILY 2 and 3 are in the works!  If you’re not on Facebook and would like to participate, just sent me an email and I’ll get you included!
