Merry, Merry y’all!
It’s Aimee Galley coming at you frantic as Christmas appears to come a week early this year! How are we looking at the next decade up ahead?!?! LAST LONG RUN OF the weird 2010’s, are they even a thing…COME ON 20s!
CLIFFNOTES VERSION:
  1. Register for PARRty by Dec 30, like now. DO IT NOW!
  2. Runs start at Wild Pear on Saturday (5AM for FM and 5:30 for HM/Walkers)
  3. TAPER IS COMING, Y’ALL
We had our biggest turn out ever for our Christmas PJ run last Friday. Y’all are so fun and full of festive!

We’ve been hyping this up all year…our end of the season PARRty coming up on FRIDAY, JANUARY 10, 2020. It’s our time to celebrate all of the accomplishments and do our hair! You know folks won’t even believe how well we all clean up and not wearing dri-fit. We’re so excited to have a new venue, new food, new desserts, new talkers…catching the theme here?!
But here’s the deal, YOU MUST REGISTER BY MONDAY DEC 30. We pay by the headcount and they plan…you guessed it…by the headcount. So please, please if you haven’t already and are planning to come…register! Even if you are a registered PARR Member, and even though it’s FREE for you to attend, you MUST REGISTER!!! You can bring 1 guest and the cost for guests is $15.00. This year includes a CASH BAR as well.

Again, you MUST let us know you are coming (the earlier the better) and registration WILL close on December 30th as we have to give our FINAL HEADCOUNT to the venue in advance. And unlike years past, you won’t be let in if we don’t have you on the list. You know if I’m talking to you!

Scheduled Saturday December 29, 2018 Run Details – Start at Wild Pear
FM – 5:00 AM –20-22 Miles at an easy pace. Again, if you’re feeling good and want to run 22 miles, then go for it. But if you’re nursing an injury, please feel free to cut the run short or just rest. Route – https://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/fullscreen/2352250111/ This route allows you to turn right on McLean and skip the out and back on Bailey if you only need to run 20.
HM – 5:30 AM –11-13 Miles at an easy pace.
Route – https://www.mapmyrun.com/routes/fullscreen/2352257020/ This route allows you to turn around at any point along Magnolia if you want to cut your run shorter.
Walking Group – 5:30 AM – 11 Miles.
Water will be at Southeast corner of Magnolia and Harkey.
Our taper, the thing we live for…is right around the corner. So put your head down, do the work and get ready to feel very uneasy about how little you will be running! But more on that AFTER this weekend.
