Hi Y’all, Another race weekend coming up! Space City 10-miler is on Sunday October 12, 2014 out in Clearlake. Don’t forget to wear your ORANGE PARR shirt and GET IN THE PICTURE! Group will meet behind the Portapotty lines before the race, which is close to the start line in the UHCL parking lot. Can’t miss ‘em…big awesome group of orange people.
Oh, you don’t have your PARR shirt that you ordered yet?!? Sandy is picking them up as I type! She’ll have them ready to go by tomorrow morning for pick up! There will be a few different options for picking them up: 1) FRIDAY: Sarah will have them in her office from 8:30AM – 2:45PM. She is conveniently located at the PB (2225 County Road 90) in Suite 223…go in the double doors, up the stairs and straight down the hall to the really cool office with dots on the open door. 2) SATURDAY: Sandy will bring them Saturday run to pick up after the run at the PB at 7:50ish 3) SUNDAY: Sarah will bring the remaining shirts to the race with her and have in her car 4) FOREVER AFTER: Sarah will keep the shirts in her office for you to pick up (and other pick up options as needed)
HUGE THANK YOU to Sandy and Sarah for all their work in getting these ordered, sorted and dispersed! Make it easy on them and be sure to get your shirt as soon as you can!
For those not running on Sunday, run will be from the PB with140 min for the FM (and TB) and 100 for the HM folks. FM folks to leave at 5:30AM and HM folks leaving at 6:10. Route will be the out and back: down CR 90, Left on Northfork, Right on Cullen, Left on Magnolia…and turn around at your midpoint.
WATER: We need a volunteer to put the water out on Saturday and retrieve it afterward. Please respond to this email or the FB post that I’m about to do so that we have water out there. It needs to be put on the corner of 1128 and Magnolia on your way to the PB. Huge thanks in advance to the many volunteers I know I’ll have to pick from 🙂
